This philosophy started when I was ripped off and disrespected when I bought my first car in 1986. I asked the salesman a question, he lied and told his coworkers the answer and they all laughed about it.

When I realized how I was taken advantage of by a person who simply knew more about that business than I, and therefore had a choice of how our transaction would proceed, I resolved to learn how financing worked.

Once I started my career in the Mortgage Business a year later, I knew I would not use situational power to take advantage of anyone, but to help them get the best result for their situation. I would never be so desperate as to take advantage of someone’s trust.
